Short story about the Coin:
The hoe and the eagle are part of the coats of arms of the two president cities (Biel and Neuchâtel).
A clock is depicted in the background (Biel and Neuchâtel are watchmaking cities). The minute hand is at 17 (Biel's table number) and the hour hand is at 6 (Neuchâtel's table number). Both cities are located on lakes (Lake Biel and Lake Neuchâtel) – and the motto is ‘It's time for tabling’.
